talking as someone pansexual here, I don't understand why people are worried or even mad about the consumption of gay media? People don't flinch about reading straight media regardless their sexuality. Straight or not, some of us don't mind reading it and the straights don't bash us for reading straight romance. So I don't understand why people from our community need to gatekeep or shame people for reading gay novels sometimes. Letting them read the novel won't harm you so why be upset?

I'd assume it's a mix of people, I know of multiple gay people who enjoy reading gay webnovels and people who are just casual enjoyers of the gay relationship in novels 🤔I personally can't say anything for other people tho, I am personally someone who reads anything as long as it's a good story and I don't really focus on the romance part of novels 🤷

Well there's a really valid reason that it's in top 20... The plot is just mind-blowing and the yaoi part isn't the main focus, the Plot is! And even for a yaoi story, the setting is really unusual that we typically can't find in yaoi...So now you know ig ¯\_(ツ)_/¯...and honestly there's so many great litarature with female protagonists so you're just missing out, in my opinion..but whatever suits your taste bro..

The omegaverse or like the ABO (Alpha Beta Omega) verse introduces a second gender to the people of that world. Usually it differs depending on authors tastes but the general concept is this: Betas are pretty much normal people, Alphas have superior abilities (like superhumans), and Omegas are inferior. There's also the fact that Omegas have this heat cycle (often used by ABO writers as a plot device to start romance) where they get into a state similar to animal heat and release pheromones that attract Alphas for them to get impregnated (mpreg exists yes). I haven't really read this novel so I can't say for sure if everything's the same when you would read but seeing the amt of hom*ophobic hags in the comments is pretty funny.

This world's ABO has just started (2 years) so there's a lot of things unknown to them (and to us about the world building)...as far as the story stated, there no significant differences between alpha, beta, and omega in terms of power...so omegas are not inferior here... But the MC states that in the future, people will held such prejudices about them and start treating omegas as inferior beings baselessly (just like how mysogyny and hom*ophobia works because PATRIARCHY!)...and of course mc will try to make sure that such a future doesn't repeat itself... And honestly mc is an omega and he's a freaking powerhouse, so much so that he is capable of defeating the ml (an alpha) fairly on a duel.

Its so d*mn good even the story building the world building is so beautifully done🤌🏼✨its such a slow…slow burn but its not the typical Yaoi/Bl the romance done elegantly and the sm*t done tastefully it doesn’t make you cringe or throw you out of the moment.It’s actually worthy of being called a Novel I really hope one day it gets an official translation and published in a physical form because I would re read this book.Both Mc and Ml are the greenest flags iv ever seen in this genre it’s truly underrated especially compared to all of the other novels iv read like Passion that is brutal and black flag with a red flag.The plot has so many twists and you will be on your seat or in your bed kicking your feet or punching the air, Simply because you will be angry or giddy or straight crying. Its so good give this a chance even if your not a huge fan of Bl/Yaoi its tastefully done I promise 🤌🏼✨💕
