The MPAA rating has been assigned for “sexual content, language, some graphic nudity and brief drug use.” The Kids-In-Mind.com evaluation includes full female frontal nudity, partial male nudity, several kissing scenes, several scenes of attempted seduction, several discussions of sex and sexual development, a fistfight with no visible injuries, a woman being sprayed in the face with mace, reckless driving scenes, many arguments, people smoking marijuana, references to a retired drug dog being addicted to cocaine, and over 50 F-words and other strong language. When an Uber driver (Jennifer Lawrence) loses her car after not paying her property taxes, she answers an unusual ad in exchange for a car: to “date” an introverted 19-year-old (Andrew Barth Feldman), in order to help him come out of his shell before going to college. – A fully nude woman charges out of the ocean to fight people on the beach that are stealing her clothing (we see her bare breasts, pubic hair, buttocks, legs, abdomen and back); they then fight (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details).
A young man kisses a woman, they take off their clothes (we see his bare chest, abdomen, back, her cleavage, and a strapless bra) and get into bed: they kiss and she tells him to get on top of her where he climaxes and she tells him, “That was my leg.” A man and woman kiss passionately on a sofa, he tells her to close her eyes and put her finger in a finger trap, and when she opens her eyes she sees that the man has put the other end of the trap on his penis; she pulls, trying to release the trap and he yells (we see part of his bare lower back).
A woman wearing her robe and underwear (we see cleavage, bare abdomen and legs to the upper thighs) runs out of her house to argue with a tow truck driver about taking her car; they talk about her having ended their relationship and he seems hurt, as a man wearing brief-style underwear (we see his bare chest, abdomen, legs to the hips and groin bulge) comes out of the house and grabs the woman on the clothed breasts from behind. A woman wearing shorts and a T-shirt dances in front of a young man seated on a sofa, she bends over and wiggles her hips toward him, she falls to her knees and tells him to smack her on the buttock; he uses his foot and kicks her over, they sit on the sofa together and nearly kiss but he starts scratching his back (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details). A woman kicks a door open at a party and finds a young man (he is shirtless and we see his bare chest) in bed with a young woman; the young woman says that nothing happened. A woman tries to convince a young man to go skinny-dipping with her in the ocean at night and he is concerned about safety; she tries to unfasten his pants and he recoils, she removes her clothing and walks into the water (we see her bare shoulders, back and legs), he also removes his clothing (we see his bare chest, abdomen and legs) and walks into the water where they talk and nearly kiss (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details).
A fully nude young man runs after a woman leaving in her car (we see his bare chest, abdomen, buttocks and back; his hands are cupped over his genital area). A man wears swim trunks and a surfing shirt that reveal his bare chest and abdomen. A woman wears a sundress that reveals cleavage and bare legs to the upper thighs. A woman’s dress reveals cleavage and legs to the upper thighs in several scenes.
A young man kisses a woman tenderly. Two teens kiss at a party and we see her knee lifted up and her leg wrapped around his waist. A young man and a young woman hug in greeting.
Two young men talk to a woman at a party and quiz her about her age, and she makes disparaging remarks about them and says that they should have sex with each other; she becomes upset when other people start to film her and accuse her of being homophobic. A woman asks a young man to have sex with her (in a crude manner) and he declines. A woman and a young man sit in a limousine together, he takes out a condom preparing to have sex, and she says that they shouldn’t because he is drunk. A woman tells a young man that she had an intense [sexual] dream about him (she does not provide details). A woman says that her father never acknowledged her and that he had an affair with her mother even though he had a family in the city. A man talks about having had sex with his Spanish teacher in high school. A man talks to a woman and a young man about the relationship he had with the woman; he talks about being married now and warns the young man about the woman being slippery. A man and a woman talk to another woman about hiring her to date their 19-year-old son and provide some details about what they mean by “date.” Two women talk about reasons why they have had sex in the past (using sex to get something they wanted or for self-preservation). A man addresses a woman as a sex-worker. A man talks about his first sexual experience in high school. A woman asks a young man in a pet shelter if she can touch his “wiener,” and clarifies that she is referring to the dog he is holding. A young man tells a woman that he doesn’t mean to pry into her private affairs, and she says flirtatiously, “Pry, pry me open.” A woman makes a remark to a man about him “finishing alone.” A woman tells a young man that she thought he was hot. A young man talks about wanting to stay invisible so people couldn’t hurt him.

No Hard Feelings VIOLENCE/GORE 4

– A woman swimming nude in the ocean sees three people on the beach, as they taunt her and a young man about having sex in the water; she yells for them to leave their clothing, as they pick up their items and walk along the beach, she charges out of the water (fully nude), throws sand in the face of one of the people and fights with them; she is kicked in the crotch and falls to her knees, she flips one of the people onto the ground, and they argue and leave. A young man tries to defend a woman when a man throws her out of a party and he swings toward the man but hits the woman in the throat instead, causing her to gag and fall onto a shelf that collapses. A fully nude young man (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details) runs after a woman that drives away; he jumps onto the hood of her car and speeds through streets, a police car pursues them and she speeds over railroad tracks as a train barrels toward them (the young man is still on the hood screaming). A woman clings to the hood of a young man’s car and he speeds through streets and through a beach where people are gathered, crashes into a grill and the woman’s clothes catch fire, he slams into the ocean and the woman is thrown into the water (she is shown to be unharmed later). A woman disconnects her car from a tow truck, lowers it to the ground, starts it and tries to drive away, but it is still attached to the truck, and the car spins its tires and throws dust and sand in the air until the tow truck driver lifts the car off the ground again and as the police arrive. A man hits a car with a crowbar and sends it careening into a tree; the tree snaps in half and falls on the roof of the car shattering the windows and denting the roof.
A woman tells a young man that she will drive him home and puts his bike in the back of her box van, the young man is reluctant, the woman jokes about him being her hostage and when they arrive at a house, the young man sprays mace in her face; the woman screams and he sprays her in the face with water from a hose to wash away the mace. A man threatens to hurt a woman if she hurts a young man. A young man reprimands his parents for doing things for him without his knowledge and tells them that they must allow him to fail on his own.
A dog in a shelter is introduced as a drug dog that became addicted to cocaine; when a woman says the word cocaine, the dog barks aggressively. A woman rollerblades to work and cars honk at her for holding up traffic on a road. A young man is startled when someone playing pool breaks loudly. People laugh at a young man when he enters a bar wearing a tie and a jacket (with shorts). A young man describes an “intense dream” he had about being locked in a dog cage and the woman he is with asks about the sex (he says there was no sex involved). A woman bullies young children in an arcade, knocking away basketballs when they try to make baskets, covering her sensor target when they play laser tag and she and a young man are eventually thrown out of the arcade. A woman becomes nervous when her finger is stuck in a finger trap.
A tow truck hitches up a car in a woman’s driveway and the driver and the car owner argue. A man tells a woman that she could always sell her organs or hair if she needs money. A woman tells a man, “I feel our baby getting dumber,” when he makes a comment that she disagrees with. People talk about parents babying their children and refer to them as helicopter parents. A young man says that he had to change schools when he was young because he was bullied.
A woman forces her fingers in the mouth of a young man when she is told that he has taken a pill at a party (he vomits in a toilet and we hear retching but do not see goo). A young man scratches his back and when a woman takes off his shirt, and we see that he has broken out in a rash (she applies salve); he says it happens when he gets anxious. A young man takes a sip of a cocktail and spits it out on a table (we see goo). A young man plays a video game and a lot of blood gushes from a character after being stabbed.
